Alfred Debattista

Alfred Debattista is a banker by profession as well as a freelance management training consultant.

He has been employed with Bank of Valletta Plc since 1985 and has served in various roles within its retail branch network. During his banking career he specialised in business development and managing customer service. He has extensive experience in managing people and in 2006 joined the Training and Consultancy Unit of the bank, occupying the role of Manager Training Projects. His role consists of developing, facilitating and delivering various training programmes as organised by the bank for its 1500 employees.

Conferred with the ACIB (UK) Banking Diploma in 1996 and with the Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Malta in 2001, Alfred has extensive lecturing experience in Business Management and Managing Organisations at The Institute of Financial Services School of Finance, The University of Malta, and at other institutions. Additionally, he has experience in delivering training and consultancy in the private sector, primarily in the marketing and retail services sectors.
